Dr Oluwatosin Adenipekun M.B.Ch.B
Medical Doctor
I am a medical doctor from Southwest Nigeria. I am passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes amongst marginalised groups. I have over five years’ experience volunteering in different capacities to achieve this goal. I have helped to provide free health services to people in remote communities who cannot afford health care, advocated for Girl Child education and campaigned against sexual violence. My experience practicing as a doctor in Nigeria made me realise that weak health systems were a barrier to achieving good health care and I sought to understand the problems and learn solutions to fixing the health system. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in Global Health and Development at University College London. I hope to one day be an adviser to the Federal Government of Nigeria on health system strengthening and capacity building.
