Olivia Edkins

Policy and Research

My name is Olivia Edkins. I graduated last year with a BSc in Psychology from the University of Nottingham, and have a strong interest in health and wellbeing. Throughout my degree I undertook modules in statistics, and since then I have wanted to further my experience within statistical analysis, combining this with my interest for the African continent. My family are from South Africa, and I have been lucky enough to spend much of my life in and around Southern Africa. I am passionate about Africa Health Organisation’s vision and strongly believe that a good quality of life should be a right for all. I know that volunteering as part of the Policy and Research team with AHO will be a exciting and informative opportunity for me, and I hope will contribute to positive change in Africa.
