Olayinka Olasehinde
Illustrator
Hello! My name is Olayinka Bidemi Olasehinde and I am a volunteer illustrator for AHO.
I love working with an array of materials, most often acrylic, coloured pencil to create warm and friendly art. In recent years I have used Photoshop to create realistic illustration. From a very young age I have been drawn to art, singing, dancing and painting, sometimes with no purpose at all other than to express myself.
I am currently studying international business. This link to international development in Africa. I am currently a facilitator with the READY Program at Brunel university. The READY challenge is to innovate for global development, to design a product aimed to solving real life problems faced by the resettles in the Zambian Refugee camp. This program helps to develop student’s employability skills through cross-cultural development projects.
I grew up in Nigeria, there I was inspired by my grandmother hard-working and storytelling tales of the Africa history. The beautiful people and motivated by my poverty to express my unique talent. Now I live in the UK with my mother and sister.
