Nadia Lohawala

Policy and Research

My name is Nadia and I am a BSc Psychology Graduate from University of Manchester. During my degree, I began to take an interest in social and health research and aspired to pursue a research career and make important contributions to the ever-changing world of health research and policy-making.  I hope to one day work for global organisations such as World Health Organisation or United Nations in order to inform policy-makers in regards to global health issues, specifically in relation to social factors and mental health. Further, I have a passion for research, writing and healthcare and therefore am excited to use these skills in my role as a policy and research volunteer with AHO and help improve access to health services for the African population through this role.
