Lucie Bell

Policy and Research

Lucie is currently studying for an MSc in Global Public Health Nutrition at the University of Westminster. She has a great interest in public health and in particular the epidemiology of cancer and communicable diseases such as HIV. Lucie is passionate about nutrition and about the various ways through which malnutrition underpins morbidity and mortality.

Lucie has always been enthusiastic about helping the most vulnerable. In the past she volunteered for the Red Cross, later for a network of nursing homes and most recently for a refugee resettlement programme.

Lucie originally comes from the Czech Republic but has lived in the UK for 15 years. She completed her BA in International Relations at Charles University in Prague. She has gotten to know Africa through family ties and travel, and she is excited to be a part of the team at Africa Health Organisation and to be able to contribute to its efforts.
