Jessica Breavington
Policy and Research
My name is Jessica Breavington and I am a final year student studying Natural Sciences at Durham University in the UK. I am passionate about researching and coming up with solutions to a range of issues in developing countries, from infant mortality to education accessibility. My personal focus is on how climate change will affect vulnerable populations, exacerbating exiting issues such as food insecurity and changing the distribution of diseases.
Having extensively travelled to almost every continent I have seen and appreciate the wide range of barriers stopping people living a healthy and fulfilling life. As a policy and research assistant for AHO I hope to use my scientific knowledge and analytical skills to translate information and data into policy which can be used to improve the lives of others.
