Jennifer “Ms Fer” Russell, born in San Francisco, California, is an actress,and Hip-Hop artist best known for her work in The Resident (2018), Saints & Sinners (2018), Black Lightning (2018), and Dynasty (2018).
At an early age Jennifer was no stranger to the entertainment industry. At a very young age Jennifer begin cheer-leading, singing in choirs and being apart of dance competitions. In 1995 her outgoing personality led her on her first live television appearance in front of a studio audience as a contestant on a game show titled “Go For It!TV” mentored by Bo Jackson. At the age 16 she began writing poetry,hip hop & R&B songs and ghostwriting for various hip hop artist under the name “Ms Fer”. At the age of 17 she wrote a stage play which was performed by professional actors. At 19 years old she recorded her first song alongside various Bay Area artists. At 20 years old she developed a passion to be an actress after performing in a stage play titled “What If The Street Can Speak” part 2, performing in a wide range of cities in the Bay Area. Early 2016 she received world wide artist recognition by releasing her debut EP titled “Go Harder” featuring single “Go Harder”. End of 2016 she released her second single titled “Tha DJ”, which was also performed and featured on radio stations, clubs, and restaurants around the world. In 2017 Jennifer “Ms Fer” Russell jump back into the acting scene with her second television appearance titled “Star” then again on “The Resident” as nurse Zoe with her first television speaking role. Since then she has been seen in various television shows, and movie theaters.
