Jenell Walton
Executive Speech Writer to the President
I am thrilled to join the Africa Health Organisation as an executive speechwriter to AHO President Graciano Masauso. I found this wonderful organization after searching for volunteer opportunities online. I am attracted to its mission to improve African people’s quality of life through health equity initiatives. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the United States.
After graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I began work as a radio news anchor and reporter and spent the first half of my career in broadcast television as a journalist. Today, I work in external and internal affairs, public relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, and community engagement in Cincinnati. I enjoy reading, learning new things and meeting people. I co-founded Seba Girls Book Club with my daughter Layla, where we spend each session reading books, poems and magazine articles focused on African-American experiences. I have also been learning a lot about Uganda through our family pen pal Cissy. My dream is to travel to Africa one day and go on a safari.
