Esosa Edosomwan
Health Policy Advisor
I am Esosa Edosomwan born in Nigeria. I had my first degree in Economics in Nigeria. Following that, I worked in insurance and subsequently at a bank for about a year and 6 months. I then decided to shift my focus to health which is something I have always been passionate about. Having lived in Nigeria for most of my life, interned at a hospital for 6months and now living in the UK, the experience of both cultures and systems has highlighted huge difference. There is need for improvement in the healthcare system in Nigeria but also in every other aspect that impact on people’s health and the way health services are being delivered. I am now a mental health researcher focusing on mental health in men and higher education students. I am compete in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, mixed methods, systematic reviews and scoping reviews. I am very excited to be part of the team as a Health Policy Advisor.
