Gender Equality Policy and Strategy
Studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Oxford, where I majored in Immunology, was when my interest in public health began. I began to question the significance of social determinants of health; as well as to explore the interventions that can be used to improve the health of communities, both on a local and global level. I am therefore excited to contribute to the work of AHO in tackling health inequality. Previously, I have volunteered with the blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, which recruits donors for the bone marrow register, and I am currently working as a Data Analyst.
