Amelia Robinson
Fundraising Coordinator & Public Relations Coordinator
My name is Amelia Robinson and I am a graduate in BA Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. While at university, I began my charitable career assisting in establishing a new organisation that now operates in Ethiopia. I then worked as a Strategic Planning and Funding Officer for an established charity operating in the UK to support BAME members of the community. My main achievements there were organising events to promote social cohesion and bid writing to secure funding, which specifically improved support for the health and wellbeing of migrants and refugees who had relocated to the region. After developing a chronic illness myself this further motivated my passion for working in public health, and I am now moving into this career path. I am specifically interested in easing health inequalities, improving access to high-quality healthcare, and decreasing the burden of preventable diseases. I am motivated to use my skills and knowledge to support Africa Health Organisation to achieve its worthy goals.
