Amelia Fay Robinson
Board of Director/Trustee and Gender Equality Representative
My name is Amelia Robinson and I hold an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. While studying, I assisted with the establishment of a charity now operating in Ethiopia, including serving as a Trustee. I then worked with a charity operating within England to assist BAME members of the community facing a range of social and economic issues. Moreover, I promoted values of community cohesion by building bridges between individual community groups. I will draw on that experience in my third charitable role as a Trustee/Director for Africa Health Organisation, where I will support the organisation to meet its goals. I am committed to promoting the organisation and its core values externally and to collaborate with the other Trustees to ensure it has a sustainable strategy in place. In particular, I will bring my public health knowledge to represent women’s issues on the board.
